Mélanie Voituriez graduated in textile design from the École Olivier de Serres in Paris and worked for several years in textile design before becoming a freelance artist and illustrator. Her passion for textile art and decoration is reflected in her work. Mélanie loves to create atmospheres inspired by the poetry of everyday life, nature and the beauty of all things around us. She composes each illustration like a patchwork of objects, plants, landscapes, architectural details and textile patterns. Mélanie creates her art with gouache or watercolour in her studio in Normandy.
